Modifying the kit and hand painting the camouflage

The story

I modelled HMT Olympic in her dazzle camouflage from 1916. I started with a 1:200 scale model of her sister ship, Titanic, and modified the promenade deck windows to make it more accurate to Olympic.

I used historical reference, colour matched from black and white photos, and drew on research others had done on this particular camouflage. Then I hand painted the camouflage on the hull.
